We were regular customers in the years 2000-2010.
It was a glorious period and we decided to explore 20 years later.
All was perfect, with minor changes; a new outdoor swimming pool and no changes in the rest.
The place is perfectly maintained and the service is 5 stars. We booked through the IHG application and the cost was very reasonable. We will repeat it every occasion we can.

The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the front desk employees Emilia, Waed, and Grace, who checked me in quickly and provided helpful recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed, and I was delighted to find a handwritten note that was written to me by the team. I would like to thank also Désiré from the reservations. The entire team's attention to detail and commitment to customer service made this a truly memorable one night stay. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and exceptional hospitality experience.

The Worst experience

This was probably one of the worst hotel. I stayed in starting with the receptionist that acts as if she is so busy when there was only me and another one guest by the reception for the check-in. She barely look at you at all or do an eye contact when I ask her if the room is nice, she said, of course it’s amazing when I reach the room there was a huge thing in front of the room you barely have any view, so I wasn’t sure why she said amazing about the room, and I felt like she lies to me. Went back to the reception saying that I don’t like the room yet she give me another room a little better, but almost the same like the first one she didn’t make any effort.
Went to have lunch by the restaurant it was the worst food and I got sick afterwards from how about the quality of food is.
I went back to the room, packed my luggage after two hours, and left the hotel. I could not stay anymore, and I didn’t wanna waste more time where I am not comfortable at all. When I said, I’m checking out the manager I guess was trying to keep me there saying that I will upgrade you. Which I don’t understand why they didn’t do it in the first place to make my experience better.
I left rushing, and I forgot my medicine and when I reach Beirut I called them and instead them making up for the worst experience I had and send me the medicine with their car. They wanted to charge me and they were even saying a different price so that says a lot about them trying to make money even on a guest that had a very bad experience.
never going back to that hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Best Hotel to be in Faraya Kfardebian
The treatment from the time we enterd the hotel till the time we left was overwhelming. The rooms were great, the view was amazing and the atmosphere in the lobby bar was exceptional!
The service overall in the hotel was even better than last years, and room service also was really quick!
The staff was really extremely welcoming and efficient
Special thanks for the Front office supervisor Mrs Grace Nader that made every effort to make our stay even more delightful !
Please Mzaar Intercontinental keep on the good work 👍

A very knowledgable staff in all matters ( IHG Rewards Benefits, Points accumulations , etc…) was able to use all my Platinum Rewards. A good payment processing system . Rooms Double cleaned daily. Smooth check-in with room charges benefits and special room allocations, friendly staff in all departments (valet, breakfast area, lobby) each department the corresponding duty manager was asking about the service personally.
A 10/10 recommendation for Mzaar Ski Resort. Best Vibe ever

Front office and reservations staff is very rude

Once i checked in, the room was not as agreed with the reservation officer, i spoke with the front office agent, she was very rude over the phone, saying that there is no other rooms, and she gives you impression like if my room was given for free.

The valet service on the 1st day informed me that they are unable to find my reservation with the printed list given to them. Then they found it. The 2nd day during check out, front office agent did not inform me anything about the valet if i should pay any service. I paid the balanche she asked for and i left.

Once in the car with my family leaving the property, the valet ran after me, i stopped the car, he informed me one more time that they couldn’t find my reservation with the front office, so if i can be escorted with them to the front office to check this issue,

I turned back and parked my car, and get into the reception with the valet, and told the agent i’ve just checked out and the valet yest and today informed that there is no booking under my name.

So the agent as usual with a very rude tone told us, yes he has a booking in the hotel but the valet is not covered so you should ( the valet) collect the money from him.

I left to the car and asked the valet what is needed now, he told me i need 8usd, so i paid him and left.

Why the front office agent did not inform me anything about the valet during check in? Is that a proper way to treat ihg member?
Why the staff is so rude so they let you feel that your stay is donated from the property.

It was a very bad experience…

Stay at Mzaar

It was a great holiday spent at Mzaar intercontinental. Everything was fabulous.
I have a comment about the services provided in low season such as valet parking and Spa, the prices can follow the decrease in pricing same as rooms do.
