Beautiful property, excellent staff

Wonderful two night stay. AmEx Fine Hotel Benefit made it even more special. Kudos to restaurant and cleaning staff who were friendly and accommodating. Special recognition to Josh, part of restaurant staff, who greeted us with a huge smile, by name, every morning at breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed.

Très bel endroit, excellente expérience.
Le personnel est vraiment attentionné et très chaleureux.
Cependant, des cours d’hospitalité sont à prévoir pour Marco du restaurant.
Bonne vacances a Lyon!

The stay at the InterContinental Lyon was a pleasant experience. The staff was professional and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-designed. The friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel added to a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
A bit of a let down this time

We stayed recently as a family at Intercontinental Lyon as we usually do when staying in Lyon. It was probably our 5th or 6th stay. This time for 5 nights.
Very disappointed by the room we were allocated when checking in, ie Garden View room which was actually overlooking a dark courtyard with parked cars and people moving garbages early in the morning. The team moved us to a different room which had a better view, ie real garden, but was looking oldish and had a mid smell due to the carpet. Anyway didn’t want to move room for the 2nd time.
Staff always friendly and professional but I cannot figure out why we were allocated a very poor room to begin with giving the fact that we were staying for 5 nights and not to mention that being a regular when coming to Lyon and also platinum/ambassador I would have expected at least to have a room with a decent view not a room with a view on a parking.
We’ve enjoyed usually our stays and even this time the staff was very professional and friendly but we feel a bit of a let down and that’s being a regular/ambassador doesn’t really make a difference so maybe for our next stay in Lyon we will consider other options.

Par où commencer !
Par la beauté du bâtiment et des différents espaces comme le restaurant ou encore cet extraordinaire bar unique au monde.
Par la gentillesse, professionnalisme et disponibilité du personnel. Tout le monde sans exception était au petit soin avec nous.
Merci a l’équipe de la réception, aux bagagistes, à l’équipe de restauration/ bar sans oublier le room service.
Les équipes étaient toujours souriantes et attentives à nos besoins.
Un grand merci pour la magnifique chambre duplex que nous avons eu pour notre séjour.
Nous avons apprécié notre diner au restaurant Epona. Les plats que nous avons dégustés étaient délicieux.
Nous avons adoré le petit-déjeuner et de voir l’équipe de la cuisine lors de notre petit-déjeuner en salle à rendu l’expérience unique.
Cet établissement fait partie des meilleurs 5 étoiles dans lequel j’ai pu séjourner.
Je recommande sans hésitation ce magnifique établissement lyonnais.

I expect better quality of rooms.
So disappointed!!!
The rooms are not clean and housekeeping service is bad.
I can see dirt not removed and cups not washed. They just left them or unnoticed!
Never stay there again!

Dès mon arrivée, j'ai été accueilli avec un très bon professionnalisme par le personnel de la réception, qui s'est chargé de répondre à tous mes besoins avec une efficacité remarquable. Leur attention aux détails et leur dévouement à assurer mon confort .
De plus, je tiens à souligner l'excellence du service de restauration. Les serveurs ont été d'une courtoisie exemplaire offrant des recommandations.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe. J'ai hâte de revenir bientôt !
