Four floors of over forty galleries of art are rotated regularly with works from antiquity to the present in the Museum’s far-reaching Collection. Included in the Collection are 15th to 20th century European and 17th to 20th century American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, decorative arts, photographs, and folk and self-taught art. Among the best in the nation are the Museum’s holding of American decorative arts, German Expressionism, folk and Haitian art, and American art after 1960.

The Milwaukee County Zoo was founded over 130 years ago. That’s almost as old as some Galapagos tortoises! In 1892, a miniature mammal and bird display in Milwaukee’s Washington Park proved to be a very popular attraction. By the turn of the century, it showcased more than 800 animals on 23 acres of land. Over the next hundred years, the Milwaukee County Zoo expanded constantly to the 190-acre site home to over 2,100 animals and 330 species we know and love today.

The sports complex is a year-round sports hub with a 55,000-square-foot fieldhouse that hosts volleyball, indoor soccer, and basketball, and outdoor athletic fields that host rugby, football, lacrosse, and soccer. The complex is also available to rent for large-scale events and exhibitions.
