Staff need to be more attentive regardless the appearance of the customers. Breakfast were ok but to my surprise, it’s not buffet type but have to order individually and the given allowance won’t be enough to cover and also on top for his, 20% tips is expected. Room cleaner is late 2nd day and 5pm not even get the room clean as I beleive busy week but that can’t be excuse especially paying and ambassador platinum member.

It was the most amazing experience I have had in recent times. The location, hotel decore, cleanliness, staff, service- everything was top notch. Truly one of the best stays. Thank you to the staff!! We will be back :)

The location is great, great bar and restaurant, however the property seems to falling apart. See attached photograph.
I would expect more from an InterContinental Hotel in terms of presentation.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel on the Wharf in DC for 4 nights. The Wharf has everything. We never had to leave the area for dinner there are so many restaurants. Our room at The Intercontinental was great. Management upgraded us to a Jr. Suite balcony room over looking the harbor. I want to thank Neil for the Anniversary surprise that the hotel sent us. Our bed was great so was our bath. Only wished the water pressure was better and the room had a microwave.

My 2nd time staying here at this Intercontinental. The front desk agent was welcoming and genuine. Super proficient check in. The room was perfect. Breakfast in the am the service could have been better as the sever kind of disappeared. Overall excellent stay!

We found the staff that worked at the bar very unfriendly and didn’t really seem interested in waiting on us. Also, the coffee that is served in the lobby in the morning is cold after about an hour other than that a very nice hotel.

The Intercontinental at the Wharf is by far the best option. They made our stay, celebrating a birthday, so memorable. They went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful hotel, including the lobby and restaurant and bar. Great staff. Clean. Gorgeous rooms. Bathroom even had a vanity mirror for makeup.

2 Small Issues

Overall, the hotel was beautiful and had a great location. The only issues are 1) No sundry shop to purchase aspirin, quick snacks, etc. We were directed to a nearby CVS, which closes very early. 2) No coffee shop in hotel. Again, we were directed to a nearby coffeehouse. Nice hotel, but we won’t be staying at this location again.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel and it was a wonderful experience, very accommodating and made it feel like home. Ercan, Camille and Khristine at the front desk cater to our needs and made our stay unforgettable.

The stay at this hotel was less than desirable. The parking was brutal but is DC. When we got our room we did not realize the only mini fridge was full of drinks you get charged IMMEDIATELY for if you remove. So your room doesn’t have a fridge or a microwave. They also throw a $30 amenity fee per night on your room. $15 is credited for the mini bar and $15 for the bar in the lobby. Took one bottle of water out and was charged $12. Absolutely insane. The hotel seems built improperly because you hear other guests very easily. I was up until 4am because other guest were partying and being loud. Fast forward to the morning when it took 35 minutes to get out car from valet, after we saw multiple couples come out before us and get their car. I would not stay in this hotel again even if it were free. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, we chose this room strictly because it was close to a venue we were going to. Pretty much spent $437 just to shower and get awful sleep.

Three Day weekend, staff was always there when needed. Both room service and bell hop staff were observant to assist any guest at any time, in hallways, elevators, or in lobby. Awesome location with view, boardwalk environment, and endless dining options. Less than two miles to all major DC attraction and five star service in a hotel location like a resort, what more would you want
