A grand welcome and Memorable Stay

We recently spent a wonderful family vacation at the Intercontinental Chennai Mahabalipuram, and it was an unforgettable experience!
Suresh's grandeur welcome with a conch and his warm smile set the tone for a fantastic stay.
The team at the Melting Pot restaurant, including Joy, Diwas, Sree, and Rakesh, provided exceptional service, making our dining experiences truly special.
Krishna and the IRD team were attentive and responsive, catering to our every need.
The Housekeeping team ensured our room was immaculate throughout our stay.
The culinary team's creativity and expertise impressed us with every meal.
Special thanks to Paul from the Concierge team for going above and beyond in making our stay memorable.
Asif was helpful in accommodating requests and was kind of him to meet and greet at arrival.
However, we did notice that maintenance could be improved, as some areas required extra attention. Additionally, our reservation waiting experience at Kokomo was longer than expected.
Despite these minor hiccups, the hotel's stunning architecture, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional staff made our family stay truly special. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We were a party of 24 and I was amazed how well the staff handled our needs both promptly and professionally. The resort and the beaches are beautiful. We can’t wait to return.

We had a positive experience this time with staff . Both the people we knew from the past Suresh, Paul and Govind and new staff including Jay, Asif and Ram at the front desk, Gavrav and Dipen and many others in the lounge and restaurant. All staff have been very helpful and welcoming. Beach closure was disappointing. My son and I enjoyed Table tennis.

We had short stay for our anniversary.. it was great experience and staffs made our day special. They prepared bed, cake cutting and ensured we enjoyed. Thanks to Akshay Vijayprabhu for your special care.
Kokoma restaurant is another special place we enjoyed food and drink.

What an amazing 3 weeks we had at such a wonderful property despite being April/May.
Sunrise in the morning and walking by the beach in eve were the highlights of the stay. With beautiful breeze from the sea and gorgeous setting we just had a very restful and rejuvenating holiday.
Very well managed by Asif and his colleagues. Melting pot staff namely Gaurav, Sree, Alex, Moniyu, Sabah, Eloni,Rajat, Dipen ( few more whose name I am forgetting…) and star chefs Shahin and Pechi went above and beyond in taking care of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏🏻
Will surely visit again.

Overall it’s been an amazing experience at Intercontinental Mahabalipuram resort. Staff are very courteous. Suite room is amazing and super view. Would love to comeback to the property.

Our's was a 2-night stay with parents and our toddler. We received two Upgraded Classic rooms facing the pool.
Room was tastefully setup with a sitting space, large living and King bed and a walk-in wardrobe space. And a tub that's fun for toddlers when back from the beach.
The staff is efficient and always there to meet every request.
The beach is a short walk via the property with a unique beach themed restaurant on the edge.
Watch the sunrise over the Bay of Bengal or stretch through morning yoga.
Follow this up with a scrumptious buffet breakfast at the Melting Pot. Food was yummy and F&B staff made sure we tried out the variety.
The restaurant caters to room service as well as full day dining and every request is met perfectly.
They also have the kid's menu which serves minimal spice food which is a great addition when you have a toddler fussy about the rice and dal.
We visited the Melting Pot with parents and our kid.
The vegetarian options were plenty and we opted for South and North Indian fare. The staff attended to all the minute requests especially the spice. Our toddler took a dip into the kids special too.
We also had been to the buffet breakfast, and it was by far the best at another IHG hotel/resort in India.
The live counter and the bakery offer some nice treats that shouldn't be missed.
The front office mgmt and staff exuded warmth and made our stay pleasant while tossing in crisp info on local sights.
Overall, a lovely resort with a vibe that will pull you back for another stay.
And oh, don't miss out on feeding the fish in the koi pond beside the restaurant.

It was an amazing and memorable stay at the resort. The room upgrade was a surprise and was too good. The staffs were super friendly and accommodating. Bidya and the duty manager helped with all the requirements. Thanks to them and the other members who worked to make this stay a beautiful one.

Excellence in service from Check-In to Check-Out… Loved the ambience of indoor & outdoor… Kokomo Restaurant setup was fantastic.. Steam & Sauna was good and their staff guidances were excellent.. Swimming Pool was clean & always there was some staff to support.. Instant Support for room service was fantastic.. Had requested for a common medicine at the 10pm & they did managed to provide them in few minutes.. I felt little bit of South Indian Food options for Lunch & Dinner Buffet could have been provided at Meting Pot.. Received a surprise Birthday Cake at 10pm..
