I enjoyed my stay, and looked forward to coming back, but my experience with the management after my stay has not been great. I had a problem with a double booking and reached out to the hotel front desk but was directed to get in touch with management. I have reached out to management and left a voicemail and messages to get in touch with me and have not yet heard from them. This was a major inconvenience for me, and I wanted to get with the manager for some help but have never been able to reach him. I feel like every time I call, I get the runaround or that he is not in. This has not been a productive process at all and is very unfortunate because I did enjoy my time at this hotel.

I would highly recommend calling ahead and insuring you have your ducks row before attempting to check in. Not only could we not get a situation resolved because the general manager was not on site during check-in time, but was also not available to bother to take a phone call. Furthermore, the general manager doesn’t seem to care about the fact that we’ve done business with them before and policy is policy. While this review may seem petty, if customer loyalty really means nothing what’s the point of a rewards and loyalty program? What’s the point of management, if not to make reasonable decisions that enhance brand loyalty and perception. I could certainly say that a impression was made today not just about this hotel, but about IHG in general as you will receive the most generic response anyone could expect.

For Breakfast on Thanksgiving the biscuit and sausage sandwiches ran out at 9am and staff did not make more even though they had more. Also we asked for 1 hour longer check out and we’re denied
And they turned off our tv 10min before check out so we didn’t get to see our friends daughter in parade.
Manager seemed to to care at all. The morning manager didn’t care one once period.

Great experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and very clean. Good location with lots of food options.
I stay at dozens of hotels every year and this is one of the best overall experiences I’ve had at IHG. Def recommend!

Loved staying here! We didn’t want downtown so we chose burb that was easy on easy off of highway. Lots to do, tons of places to eat!

We stayed at two Avid hotels on this trip and the OKC-Yukon was the better of the two. Very clean, even the stairs and elevator which in many places are neglected. We thought the mattress was a bit too soft for our tastes. Other room furnishings were functional, not fancy, but that's not a complaint. We had everything we needed. Same with breakfast -- not fancy but we were more than satisfied with the selection. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Checked in - requested bottom floor when we made reservations- room was third floor - the clerk told me she didn’t have any bottom floor rooms. I replied that was fine but wouldn’t be back to this hotel - and she suddenly had a bottom floor room. Still trying to get my $20.00 damage fee refunded - THAT IS NOT MENTIONED IN MY RESERVATION PAPERWORK. Had to “wake up” the night clerk to check out - he couldn’t get computer to work and couldn’t give me a receipt. Asked for a receipt at check in and was told I would get one a check out. Well that was another lie. We are in this area monthly and will go back to our usual hotel where they care about guests. Supposedly the motel has coffee available 24 hrs - which is no where in site - and didn’t want to keep the night clerk up any longer. Brand new motel - very bad experience.

This was my 4th stay at Avid and 1st at this hotel. Each stay has exceeded expectations. They are tops in cleanliness and customer service.
