Eugene is a city at the south end of Oregon's Willamette Valley. It sits near the confluence of the Willamette and McKenzie rivers, located about 50 miles from the coast. The Nike Corporation was established in Eugene, which helped influence its nickname: Track Town, USA. It also houses the University of Oregon.
