MIAMI | SOUTH BEACH

Originally built in the 1930s, the history of Kimpton Angler's Hotel runs deep. Once frequented by Ernest Hemingway, this captivating gem within the heart of South Beach’s iconic Art Deco District is the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine and vintage charm in this glamourous city.

Glasgow | City Centre

Looking upon four identical classical terraces, see the once-home of The Royal Scottish Automobile Club. Restored and opened as a hotel in 2009, its aristocratic architectural features—marble floors and fireplaces—mingle well with Kimpton’s new and imaginative designs.

KIMPTON BRICE HOTEL

Savannah | Historic District

Built in the 1860s, this famous landmark’s purposes ranged from cotton warehouse to machine shop to the first Coca-Cola bottling plant in Savannah. Kimpton repurposed the building and realized the playful yet finely curated Kimpton Brice Hotel in 2014.

KIMPTON CARDINAL HOTEL

Winston-Salem | Downtown

Constructed in 1929 as the R.J. Reynolds building, this historic Art Deco–designed structure was the architectural prototype for the Empire State Building in New York City. This iconic skyscraper became the eclectic Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in 2016.

Edinburgh | New Town

This 1819 Georgian building is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, with seven interconnected Georgian townhouses offering access to a lovely, private garden. In 2019 this majestic construction emerged as Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel.

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel’s history dates back to 1890, when it first opened as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters. Walk up to the magnificent terra-cotta Grade II Victorian facade and among the lofty walkways and botanical accents.

Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel is a reinvention of the landmark Blackstone Hotel (1916), once known as the most elegant stopover between the coasts. With timeless elegance, it’s no wonder we’re listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Amsterdam | City Centre

Kimpton De Witt Hotel: 17th-century Dutch Golden Age-era buildings and newer buildings from the 20th century in the Palace Quarter neighborhood. Admire our ideal design, skillful accents, and the four-story Little House, the 16th-century home of Dutch playwright, P.C. Hooft.

KIMPTON ELLA'S COTTAGES

Key West | Old Town

The story begins in the late 1800s. These charming bungalows once gave shelter to Cuban cigar makers, housed Navy personnel leading up to World War II, then acquired a sweet namesake: steamboat captain Peter Hanlon’s wife, Ella.

KIMPTON FITCH LODGE

Key West | Old Town

Fitch Lodge has opened its doors to adventurers: seafarers, sailors, travelers. These classic Carpenter Victorian houses are listed among the National Registry of Historic Places. The lodge is now attributed to Henry “Harry” Fitch, a classic Key West figure.

KIMPTON FITZROY LONDON

London | Bloomsbury

The Hotel Russell was created in 1898 by the architect Charles Fitzroy Doll. Admire the palatial design elements: beautiful terra-cotta exterior, stately marble, vaulted ceilings, ornate Pyrenean marble staircase, and an interior sunken garden.

Chicago | Downtown

Assembled in stages between 1893 and 1903, this distinguished 14-story landmark was originally the Midwest headquarters of the New York Life Insurance Co. Interior highlights include a showcase of gray marble, twin grand stairs, coffered ceiling, and elegant archways.

Baltimore | Inner Harbor

One of the most stately structures in Baltimore, this storied Beaux-Arts building was constructed in 1906 as the headquarters of Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. The National Park Service lists us as one of the “Ten Enduring Landmarks of Baltimore’s Central Business District.”

Chicago | Downtown

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago was originally the D.B. Fisk & Company hat factory, built in 1912. “Fiskhats” were manufactured and marketed here until 1958. In 1998 Kimpton acquired the space and converted it to the attuned and comfortable Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago.

Denver | Downtown

Our place of residence started as the 1917 Railway Exchange Building and the 1928-built Art Moderne Title Building and was the first example of Art Deco architecture in Denver. In 1998 this location evolved into the elegantly designed Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia resides at the intersection of celebrated monuments, acclaimed boutiques, a thriving nightlife, and a burgeoning business district. We’re located in Old City, a few feet from the iconic Liberty Bell and monumental Independence Hall.

Pittsburgh | Downtown

Pittsburgh’s iconic Beaux Arts-style James H. Reed building was erected in 1903. The Parisian-inspired location would transition from an electric company to home of Reed Smith law firm to Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh (est. 2008).

Salt Lake City | Downtown

Delmonico Hotel and Restaurant, the first entity to occupy this site, opened in the 1860s. It would transition to National Bank of the Republic and then Continental Bank, until it became a Kimpton Hotel. Step into our restaurant, Bambara, to witness the storied once-was bank lobby and its polished marble.

Seattle | Downtown

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle was originally constructed in 1969 as the Pacific Northwest Bell office building. Today you’ll see alluring nods to the past and present, whether in the hotel or on the walk to must-see Pike Place Market.

Washington DC | Downtown

Built in 1842 the hotel was the nation’s General Post Office. The all-marble exterior and architectural grandeur was heavily influenced by ancient classical design and the work of Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, which is still visible today.

Philadelphia | Rittenhouse Square

Originating in 1929, this 26-story Art Deco high-rise was designed by a consortium of 20 prominent Philadelphia-based architects. We’re located in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, part of a National Historic District.

KIMPTON LIGHTHOUSE HOTEL

Key West | Old Town

From the Lighthouse Hotel, guests have a mid-1800s history at their doorstep with prime views of two Key West icons—the lighthouse and the famed Hemingway house. In the 1980s, South American gold was discovered in an on-site well, an unsolved mystery to this day.

This historic marker opened as the Calhoun Hotel, originally established as a mariners lodging in 1910. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is embellished with sophisticated yet quirky tributes to the past and present.

Key West | Old Town

Ridley House: ornate 19th-century interiors and Bahamian Eyebrow architecture. We renamed the property to honor the original owner’s discovery of a small and endangered species of sea turtle, known as Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle.

KIMPTON SCHOFIELD HOTEL

Cleveland | Downtown

This much-loved landmark in downtown Cleveland was built in 1902 as an office building by Cleveland architect Levi Schofield, who was also responsible for the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument on Public Square. A five-year restoration and renovation converted the building to the Kimpton Schofield Hotel in March 2016.

Inspired by Atlanta’s nickname of “the city in a forest,” our sprawling 1950s residential building has been given lush new life with themes of trees, greenery and nature throughout. While we are rooted in mid-century style, everything feels refreshingly of this moment.

KIMPTON WINSLOW'S BUNGALOWS

Key West | Old Town

Winslow’s Bungalows’ playful spirit can be traced all the way back to the late 1800s as the home of a famous vaudeville performer. We’re aptly named, honoring Winslow Homer, the great American painter who spent summers in Key West around the turn of the 20th century.
