We are at the Zam Zam Well, miraculously-generated source of water from God, which began thousands of years ago when Prophet Ibrahim’s infant son Ismail was thirsty and kept crying for water. Millions of pilgrims visit the well each year. Surprisingly, it never gets dried despite millions of liters of water attributed to the well consumed every year.

The Exhibition of the 2 Holy Mosques

Mina Muzdalifa Arafat

Millions of Muslims travel every year to perform their once-in-a-lifetime ritual rites and as part of the ritual journey in Mina, the tent-city they reside for few days combining their prayers. Spending overnight, upon dusk on the 9th of Dul-Hijjah pilgrims proceed towards Arafat which is also known as the place for Mercy. Spending whole day asking for repentance and praying, at the dawn pilgrims depart to Muzdalifa. During your visit to Makkah, these are must-see places.

Kiswa Cloth factory

Umm Al Joud Area, Makkah,

Kaaba is the house of allah and is covered by a Black Cloth known as Kiswa which is produced and changed every year. This is the special factory designed for the making of Kiswa in Makkah known as Umm Al Jood. The making of kiswa costs approximately SR 17 million. The cloth is made of 670 KGS of sliver dyed black. About 120 Kgs of pure gold & 50 kgs of Silver is used in writing the quranic verses over the cloth. The total area of the cloth is 658 square meters.
